Restore Assemble Produce (RAP) mission is to be a solution for improving the lives of adults, families and youth from BIPOC and underserved communities. Our mission includes promoting healthy lifestyle options for the BIPOC communities by providing services that empower and enrich each individual to overcome challenges with confidence and competence.
Our amazing team of regulars and part-time volunteers are committed to helping others. We take our convictions and turn them into action. Think you would be a good fit? See our form below for more information!
Our Vision is to gather the youth and provide the necessary, tailor made tools and programs to help each child succeed individually. We believe that when you change a child’s life, you change the family, creating a healthy community and impacting the world.

R.A.P. has a strong history in working with the school district and schools by helping youth and families heal from the impact of racial and personal trauma.
R.A.P. has also shown the ability to work effectively and cooperatively with local, county and state entities including:
*King County Best Starts for Kids
*The City of Kent
*Washington State Children and Youth Families
*King County Voter Registration Awareness campaign
*King County Public Health
R.A.P. has extensive experience working with King County Public Health on health education and awareness and creating processes to help low income communities respond to health concerns in their community.
We have a strong reputation of providing safe spaces, training expertise, communication processes and outreach & engagement to these valued community members. Through these interactions, we have been successful in creating valuable community transformation in various arenas in Kent.
For the past 3 years, we have participated in the Lead Awareness Program training, educating BIPOC community members in how to be advocates for their communities.
Emergency Response: During COVID 19 and over the last 4 years, we have provided ongoing food distribution and emergency relief in King County through ancillary services assisting with payment of utilities & rent, furniture and individual and family counseling to families from marginalized communities.
The Restore Assemble Produce (R.A.P.) philosophy consists of a dynamic which we refer to as “active caring”.
This denotes the active implementation of caring actions, attitudes, and speech that are deliberate and intentional to recognize and address the racial, socio-economic, cultural, mental and spiritual concerns of youth, parents, and community.
Words are not enough, “We must go deeper”. The R. A.P. foundational and organizational values instill an ethos that any program and strategy must lead with a policy of LOVE and active caring. This means also identifying what the real issues by going deeper than the band-aid to address problems. We explore the “why” of these issues and provide restorative answers to bring authentic healing to our communities.
